All Kinds of Hell is a creative autobiography about a queer femme runaway who came of age in Austin, TX during the 90’s then fled to LA at the turn of the century.
“I grew up apologizing to Jesus every summer for wanting to bite my Christian camp counselor’s nipples when they poked through her red lifeguard-style swimsuit. I could swear I heard Jesus accept my apology every year until the summer before 7th grade when he could tell I didn’t mean it. That year, the local Mazda dealer’s daughter let me stick a tampon in for her and we both liked the way it felt. I can still remember her dad’s jingle how it came on the radio every morning, “Big Billy Barrett’s Mazdaaaah.”
