Winter solstice 2011: On her father’s first birthday after his death, Drew Denny performed a work of participatory poetry in which audience members each read lines written by Drew and her father while he was in the hospital as well as excerpts from solstice folklore. Things lined up in unexpected ways. And when the wolves howled, all the humans flashed the moon.
